Twin Spin is a Brantford-based dynamic musical duo that brings music of the “50s, 60s and beyond” to the city and the surrounding area.

Twin Spin is Phil Scott on drums, percussion and vocals; and Doc Johnson on guitar, harmonica and vocals. Both have toured extensively playing several different genres of music in various bands.

The Twin Spin set list usually includes songs such as Rock and Roll is Here to Stay, I Love the Rainy Nights, Pretty Woman, Peggy Sue, Wipe Out, Summertime Blues, Woolly Bully, Sunny Afternoon and much more. Their stage dress of choice is tuxedos because 50s and 60s bands often dressed up, and if it is too hot they wear tuxedo T-shirts.

Since forming in 2017, Twin Spin has performed at Springtime in Paris, Music in the Park in Paris, Brantford’s Music in the Square, MS Walk, Jane’s Walk, Kidney Walk, Alzheimer’s Walk, Can Jam for Help a Child Smile, a Memorial  in Brantford, St. George AppleFest, as well as a Telfer Place Canada Day Party in Paris and a private garden party in Brantford. They were part of the Music in the Park series at Alexandra Park, August 2019, drawing one of the biggest audiences. They enjoy being a part of community and charity events.
